Company

Goathamster Studio was founded in 2016, by 3 young developers full of dreams, who wanted to share their passion for games with the world.

We're a studio based on hopes and dreams, and with hard work and dedication, we've made them reality.

From a small team of 3 in 2016, to a growing company of 16, to a part of the C2IT family in 2020. Goathamster's journey has been an exciting one and with our latest evolution we can offer our clients even better service, more flexibility, and live ops to take your game to the next level.

Games are our passion, player retention is our business.

What We Do

We make games. Pure and simple.

With our passion and expertise, we make your vision come true and deliver games with the highest quality. Making games is not a business, to us, it is a lifestyle. It is about passion, not just interest. It is about going the extra mile and not just settle for mediocre solutions.

Goathamster Studio stands for quality, customer success, and awesome player experiences!

Our Vision

We only succeed when our clients succeed. It's that simple. Everything to us is a collaboration, we're in this together, as a team, and as a team, we must succeed.

We will never accept anything that feels like "just another project". It's important for us, but especially more so to our clients, that our hearts and souls can be poured into the game, to give it that something extra you never really can put your finger on, but you can definitely feel when it's not there.

Life is too short for boring projects. We're here to create great player experiences and make people happy. Nothing less.

Services

Pre-production

Pre-production is the first step of the project, and it will lay the foundation for the rest of the project. Everything from the project plan, game design, art styles, and gameplay prototypes.

The game concept is a high-level overview of what the game is going to be. What mechanics, game design, economies, platforms, and so on will be developed.

Prototype to test technical questions, and prove if it can be done to not. As well as testing if the core mechanics and gameplay will be fun. Sometimes things sound better on paper than they feel in real life.

Production

Flesh out Game Design with the story, rules, content, economics, and so on. We focus on flexibility and try to keep things as flexible as possible.

Development is ramped up. Additional programmers, artists join the team to ramp up production speed, while ensuring quality stays high.

The prototype is scrapped, and a proper foundation is set up to build upon to ensure we scale the architecture correctly from day one.

Release

In closed beta, all core mechanics are fleshed out and ready to test.

When the game is almost finished, we expand testing to open beta. Focus in this testing phase is user experience and retention

Soft-launch is our last step, where we tweak player retention and monetization in selected markets/countries.

When we've reached decided monetization and retention goals we're ready for launch, and will help you through every step.

Post-Release

Throughout the game's lifetime, we can provide Live Operations optimizing player retention, monetization, and player experiences.

We do this through a mix of small tweaks such as number balancing and optimization, to major updates such as new content, mechanics, and game modes.

Thanks for your interest, we'll get back to you soon
